The first born of the IRON series, the 12D2 subwoofer is the most suitable product for "first installations" or entry level realizations where you want to keep small footprint on cars for daily use.
The IRON 12 features a 175x20mm double ferrite magnet with a weight of about 9 kg.
The remarkable ventilated and cooled magnet assembly provides the subwoofer with high performance and precision to every musical note even with low power.
Ihe core, 3.2" coil with a winding height of 42mm was chosen from 100% pure copper for better musicality and musical accuracy.
Gluings are made with two-component adhesive and spider assembly screwed to the basket for exceptional mechanical sealing.
Elastic rubber edge for a perfect pneumatic seal inside the box and to avoid drafts that could cause whistling and pressure loss.
For connections we chose 6mmq nickel-plated brass spring clamps to ensure excellent connections capable of handling powers close to Kilowatt RMS.
The highest quality carbon dust covers complete it to increase cone rigidity and coil cooling.

Available 12"/30cm dual 2 ohm version, from 2024 12"/30cm dual 1 ohm version is also available.
Their resonant frequency (Fs) between 36 and 37 hz makes them perfect for everyday listening in the car, but specific for bass music and hip hop, while for lovers of techno and music with lots of BPM we recommend slightly reducing the recommended boxes by about 10 cm (in the width) to make the speaker faster and raise the box tuning by about 3-4 hz.
Given the 1000Wrms power, we recommend in combination one of our 750 to 2400Wrms amplifiers
