Gs Audio IRON 15" D1 Subwoofer - 15"/38cm - 1250 WRMS / 2500 W max.

A newcomer to the IRON series, the IRON 15 subwoofer is ideal for those new to creating their first systems or for entry level installations where space in the car needs to be optimized without sacrificing performance, perfect for everyday use.

The IRON 15 features a 175x20 mm double ferrite magnet, with a total weight of about 9 kg.

Thanks to the robust vented and cooled magnet assembly, the subwoofer provides excellent performance and remarkable accuracy, even at moderate power ratings.

At the heart of the system is a 3.2" coil with a 40 mm high winding, made of 100 percent pure copper, chosen to ensure superior musicality and precision in sonic details.

All bonding is done with two-component adhesives, while the spider assembly is firmly screwed to the basket, providing an exceptional mechanical seal.

The elastic rubber edge ensures a perfect pneumatic seal inside the box, preventing pressure loss or unwanted whistling.

For connections, 6 sq. mm nickel-plated brass spring clamps were selected, designed to handle powers up to 1250 Wrms, offering reliability and lasting performance.

A high-quality carbon dust cover completes the design, improving cone rigidity and optimizing coil cooling.

Available in 15"/38 cm version with dual 1- or 2-ohm coils.

The resonant frequency (Fs) between 36 and 37 Hz makes this subwoofer perfect for everyday in-car listening, especially suitable for genres such as bass-heavy music and hip hop. For fans of techno or high BPM music, we recommend a reduction of about 10 cm in the recommended box width to increase the response speed and raise the box tuning by 3-4 Hz.

With a power output of 1250 Wrms, we suggest pairing it with one of our 750 to 2400 Wrms amplifiers.
