The new 2024 series of Gs Audio Platinum 4000 series subwoofers available in 10"/25cm - 12"/30cm - 15"/38cm - 18"/46cm are the evolution of the previous Platinum 3000.

Handmade in our Italian headquarters, the subwoofers are also customizable in case of requests.

In the new edition, the main transformation has been made on magnet, coil, which together have made it possible to reach a bearable power of 2250Wrms in both D1 and D2 ohm impedance versions.

The massive magnetic assembly now features a 220mm ferrite ring and "ufo" polar plates. This specific design of ours has greatly improved power handling, ventilation and cooling of the voice coil, as well as giving an extremely modern and unique aesthetic look!

The new voice coil is 81 mm, 4-layer, with 100% pure Copper winding on high temperature aluminum backing.

The spiders, double layer in 100% red nomex, produced in our Italian headquarters, allow for extreme lightness, rigidity and efficiency, plus the sewn tinsels, avoid annoying noises and vibrations at large excursions.

All 4 10/12/15/18" versions are equipped with a new pressed cellulose cone and 30mm round foam suspension, which, thanks to the larger cone surface available, allowed to increase efficiency without losing anything in terms of excursion.

Spring push terminals to insert cables with cross sections up to 16mmq!

To top it all off, we installed a carbon dust cover, which, in addition to stiffening the cone, acts as a heat sink, as carbon being a heat-conducting material, absorbs heat from the coil and helps dissipate it from the front of the cone as well.

Available all 4 models 10"/25cm - 12"/30cm - 15"/38cm - 18"/46cm both double 1 ohm and double 2 ohm.

Their resonant frequency (Fs) between 33 and 36 hz makes them perfect for everyday listening in the car with both bass and hip hop music, while for lovers of techno and music with lots of BPM we recommend slightly reducing the recommended boxes by about 5 cm (in the width) to make the speaker faster and raise the box tuning by about 2-3 hz.

Given the 2000Wrms power, we recommend in combination one of our 1500 to 3000Wrms amplifiers.
